Job description

Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced, high-energy, results-oriented, Program Manager. This position is responsible for managing software implementation projects and a team of software implementation project managers and specialists for our growing software and services company. The successful applicant(s) will have a background in managing software rollouts including requirements gathering, environment setup and install, configuration/development, training, go-live, and support.


The Program Manager takes full accountability for end-to-end project management of highly complex software implementations. The Program Manager engages with our personnel and customers to establish a strong relationship and develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. This position requires in-depth knowledge of contractual obligations and terms with the ability to translate those into project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report the progress of all project activity within the team portfolio, including significant milestones and conditions affecting project costs or schedules.
  • Advise clients and company management of project risks in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and report actual performance against project plans and recommend adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
  • Create communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues and ensure timely, adaptive action is taken.
  • Manage project completion activities, including lessons-learned sessions and transitioning projects to Support.
  • Conduct project meetings and maintain appropriate project documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage client relationships and communications related to requests for additional work.
  • Assist with annual planning, budgeting, and reforecasting cycles and processes.
  • Manage, mentor, and advise a team of Project Managers and Implementation Specialists.
  • Supervise employees on the project implementation team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years Software Implementation Project Management with a track record of success
  • Experience with Agile SCRUM/Kanban methodology
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Other Project Portfolio Management Software
  • Justice Case Management experience
  • Experience working within Agile teams or formal training in Scrum or Agile methodologies is considered a strong asset.

The pay range for this role is:

136000.00 - 145000.00 USD per year (US)
