- Job Title: Program Manager (Gaming Global Readiness)
- Type: Contract
- Level: Mid-Level
- Location: On-site at the designated office
- Workplace: On-site
- Duration: ASAP to June 30th, 2024, with strong potential for extension.

3. Summary of the opportunity
- Client Overview: Microsoft Game Development Studios is responsible for developing and publishing renowned gaming franchises, aiming to deliver exceptional gaming experiences on various platforms.
- Role Summary: The Program Manager will assist game studios and stakeholders in navigating legal, cultural, and ethical considerations when creating and distributing gaming content globally. They will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and mitigating geopolitical risks.

4. What are the key responsibilities?
- Working with stakeholders to track compliance requirements for games, services, marketing, and content in worldwide markets.
- Performing frontline reviews of game content and marketing materials to minimize geopolitical risk.
- Assisting with reporting compliance against Gaming Global Readiness requirements.
- Organizing, synthesizing, and updating information on the Gaming Global Readiness SharePoint site.
- Researching and providing analysis and guidance on complex geopolitical, socio-linguistic, and cultural issues.
- Coordinating and scheduling Gaming Global Readiness reviews and training sessions.
- Co-hosting Gaming Global Readiness Office Hours when necessary.

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
   - Proficiency in SharePoint, Jira/ADO, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
   - Familiarity with compliance functions.
   - Degree or equivalent experience in localization, international relations, program management, game production, or a related field.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
   - Background in cultural studies, history, or anthropology.
   - Proficiency in two or more languages.
   - PMI or PMP certification (preferred, but not required).
