Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Product & Program Management to lead strategic initiatives that redefine how enterprise software is planned, built, and delivered through the power of Agentic AI.

This role will drive the convergence of Product Portfolio Management (PPM/SPM), Agile Planning, AI-enabled Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, and R&D Operations into a unified operating model. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, this leader will accelerate AI adoption, modernize delivery practices, and improve business outcomes across the ValueOps portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines deep program leadership expertise with a strong engineering mindset and has successfully led enterprise-scale transformation initiatives involving Agile, DevOps, AI, and software portfolio management.

What You'll Do

Lead AI-Powered Product & Portfolio Transformation

  • Define and execute the strategy for integrating Agentic AI across Product Management, Program Management, and Engineering.

  • Drive AI-assisted business case generation, roadmap planning, portfolio prioritization, investment planning, and executive decision support.

  • Lead initiatives that transform traditional project management into AI-enabled autonomous workflows.

Drive Portfolio & Product Excellence

  • Partner with Product Management to align strategic objectives with execution.

  • Lead portfolio governance, investment planning, capacity planning, roadmap management, and value realization.

  • Improve prioritization frameworks using business value, customer impact, engineering capacity, and financial insights.

  • Establish measurable portfolio health metrics and executive dashboards.

Transform Engineering Execution

  • Partner with Engineering and DevOps leadership to improve delivery predictability, release management, quality, and operational excellence.

  • Drive adoption of modern Agile practices, Value Stream Management, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted software delivery.

  • Remove organizational friction through process simplification and intelligent automation.

Program Leadership

  • Lead highly visible cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution.

  • Manage complex dependencies across Product, Engineering, UX, Cloud Operations, Security, Finance, and GTM organizations.

  • Provide executive-level communication, risk management, issue resolution, and governance.

Organizational Change Leadership

  • Champion AI adoption across R&D organizations.

  • Develop scalable operating models that improve productivity, transparency, and collaboration.

  • Coach leaders on Agile, Lean Portfolio Management, and AI-enabled decision making.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Engineering degree and 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, Portfolio Management, or Engineering Program Leadership.

  • 5+ years leading global, cross-functional teams and strategic enterprise initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success leading Agile and enterprise transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of Software Portfolio Management (SPM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Agile planning methodologies.

  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Executive Leadership.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical and business acumen with experience using metrics to drive decisions.

Preferred

  • Experience implementing Agentic AI, Generative AI, or AI copilots within product development organizations.

  • Knowledge of ValueOps, Agile Planning, Lean Portfolio Management, OKRs, Value Stream Management, and Product Operations.

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, and engineering productivity initiatives.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native software development and enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • PMI certifications (PMP/PgMP), SAFe, Scrum, or equivalent Agile certifications.

  • Experience with Clarity, Rally, Jira, Aha!, ServiceNow SPM, Planview, Azure DevOps, or similar enterprise platforms.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong business and technology acumen.

  • Customer-focused with an enterprise mindset.

  • Influential leader capable of driving alignment across diverse organizations.

  • Data-driven decision maker with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Change agent who thrives in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments.

  • Passion for AI, innovation, and modern software delivery.

Success Measures

Within the first 12 months, this leader will:

  • Establish an AI-enabled Product and Program Management operating model.

  • Accelerate adoption of Agentic AI across planning, portfolio management, and engineering workflows.

  • Improve portfolio visibility, prioritization, and investment governance.
