Overview
Planning the overall program, monitoring the progress, and managing the budget, ensuring progress against important milestones where consistent and coordinated implementation is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and build strong relationships
- Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions
- Identify and monitor risks and issues risks associated with the program and taking corrective measures, including working with teams to develop solution options
- Provide comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and other key stakeholders as well as to governance forums
- Facilitate training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new core banking system by all users
Qualification
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Over 8 years of experience in IT development and/or solution delivery for financial services Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions
- Deep technology background with good understanding of SW and Vendor landscapes
- Have led a team of minimum 5 composed of developers/analyst/project and/or delivery managers leading to a successful deployment of projects of more than 6 months’ duration
- Worked with multi-3rd party vendor arrangements and can shape up and manage the statement of work up to delivery Skills
- Project management skills around planning, risk management and issue management
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
