Job Description

Overview

Planning the overall program, monitoring the progress, and managing the budget, ensuring progress against important milestones where consistent and coordinated implementation is required.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and build strong relationships
  • Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions
  • Identify and monitor risks and issues risks associated with the program and taking corrective measures, including working with teams to develop solution options
  • Provide comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and other key stakeholders as well as to governance forums
  • Facilitate training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new core banking system by all users


Qualification

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Over 8 years of experience in IT development and/or solution delivery for financial services Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions
  • Deep technology background with good understanding of SW and Vendor landscapes
  • Have led a team of minimum 5 composed of developers/analyst/project and/or delivery managers leading to a successful deployment of projects of more than 6 months’ duration
  • Worked with multi-3rd party vendor arrangements and can shape up and manage the statement of work up to delivery Skills
  • Project management skills around planning, risk management and issue management
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
