We are looking for an experienced Program / Project Manager to lead strategic business and technology initiatives within MSD. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end program delivery, establishing governance frameworks, coordinating multiple cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution of complex transformation projects.
You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors to provide structure, transparency, and accountability throughout the program lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery
- Lead complex cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery and stabilization.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate multiple parallel workstreams while ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and mitigation plans.
- Drive delivery predictability and continuously improve execution processes.
- Monitor project health using KPIs, milestones, and delivery metrics.
Governance & Executive Reporting
- Establish governance structures, steering committees, and decision-making frameworks.
- Prepare executive presentations, status reports, dashboards, and program updates.
- Ensure transparency across leadership, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate governance meetings and drive timely decision-making.
- Maintain accountability across all participating teams.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Align stakeholders around program objectives and priorities.
- Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and executive discussions.
- Manage communication across business and technology organizations.
Operational Excellence
- Define program structures, roles, responsibilities, and ways of working.
- Implement standardized project and program management methodologies.
- Improve operational efficiency through continuous process optimization.
- Support organizational change and adoption of new operating models.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate activities across internal departments and third-party partners.
- Track vendor performance and delivery commitments.
- Ensure effective collaboration between business, technology, operations, and external suppliers.
- Drive ownership and accountability for deliverables across all parties.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing complex IT or business transformation programs.
- Strong experience leading large cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in Program Management and Project Management.
- Experience establishing governance models, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with senior leadership.
- Experience managing project risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and delivery roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate business teams, technology teams, and external vendors.
Nice to Have
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Experience managing global transformation initiatives.
