This is a remote position.
We are looking for an Project Engineer for our client, a company specialize in network test, monitoring, and assurance solutions. Responsibilities: 1. Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management 2. Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and element 3. Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimate 4. Confirm product performance by designing and conducting test 5. Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequence project element 6. Maintain project schedule such as gantt chart by monitoring project progress with timelines; coordinating activities; resolve problem 7. Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommend action 8. Coordinate with internal teams and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of project 9. Cooperate and communicate with cross-functional internal teams and collaborating with management to create more efficient project method 10. Report and escalate to management as necesssary 11. Manage relationships and communications with all stakeholder 12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 13. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions 14. Conduct regular meetings and updates on progress of projects until closure 15. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and technique 16. Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulation
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia & Information Technology, Infocomm Security Management, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering qualifications with 1 to 3 years of working experience handling IT project management, project engineering, or project planning (scope, schedule, cost, quality) 2. Experience in field management 3. Good understanding of project management, financial management and budgeting 4. Self-motivated, proactive and possess good work attitude 5. Analytical problem solvers who think in a systems perspective 6. Ability to manage small details while keeping an eye on the big picture 7. Well organised and able to prioritise activities and deliver projects on time in time pressured environment and within budget 8. Ability to communicate effectively with all team members and stakeholders 9. Strong communication and teamwork skills 10. Deliver presentations with a logical mindset and ability to explain ideas and plans clearly 11. Strong technical knowledge of IT technologies across infrastructure (Microsoft OS and servers, CISCO and networking) 12. Understanding engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and computer engineering 13. Ability to understand complex system development methods and system testing practice 14. Understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
