Job description


The Project Manager (PM) at Red Bear Tech is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned project packages.
This includes ownership of a defined scope(s) such as:
  • Security systems (ACS, CCTV, IDS)
  • ICT / structured cabling
  • Whitespace fitout packages
  • Infrastructure integration
  • Low-voltage or technical systems packages
The PM ensures the allocated package is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Red Bear Tech quality and compliance standards.The role coordinates design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities, acting as the central point of control for their package.
The Project Manager collaborates across Program, Regional, and Technical teams and represents their package to clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Job requirements


Technical & Construction Knowledge
  • Understanding of security systems, ICT infrastructure, low-voltage packages, or similar technical scopes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and integration with other trades.
Project Delivery Skills
  • Strong scheduling, planning, and coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors or internal teams.
  • Competent in cost tracking, procurement coordination, and budget management.
Communication & Leadership
  • Clear communicator across client, GC, trades, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to drive accountability and maintain positive working relationships on site.

  • 3–7 years in construction, low-voltage systems, technical delivery, or similar project roles.
  • Experience delivering trade or technical packages in a construction environment.
  • Datacenter or hyperscale construction exposure preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field desirable.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of H&S requirements on active construction sites.

Job responsibilities


Scope & Package Ownership
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the assigned delivery package (security or technical systems).
  • Set up the package execution plan, schedule, method statements, risk controls, and deliverables.
  • Ensure package activities comply with construction phasing, site rules, and client requirements.
Planning, Scheduling & Coordination
  • Maintain detailed package schedules and align with overall master construction programme.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, internal installation teams, and commissioning personnel.
  • Plan site activities, access, sequencing, and dependencies with general contractors (GCs) and other trades.
Financial & Commercial Management
  • Own package budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Manage procurement needs and long-lead items with Procurement & Commercial.
  • Initiate and track variations, scope changes, and change-control submissions.
Site Management & Execution
  • Conduct regular site walks, quality checks, and readiness verifications.
  • Ensure installation is carried out safely and to specification.
  • Resolve site issues quickly and escalate blockers to the Senior PM or Campus Director.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as the package representative in client forums, construction meetings, and site coordination sessions.
  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with GC teams, client delivery managers, and other package leads.
Quality, Compliance & Handover
  • Ensure installation meets Red Bear Tech, manufacturer, and client QA/QC requirements.
  • Manage inspection & test plans (ITPs), punch lists, and commissioning readiness.
  • Deliver complete as-builts, redlines, and O&M documentation for the package.
