Role responsibilities

  • To run, support and develop Service Level Agreements and different kind of contracts with clients. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Coordinate delivery across multi-brand or multi-market digital programs, with an emphasis on reuse, governance, and consistency across brand teams
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Reaching deadlines as a must.
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop and groom product backlog in JIRA
  • Ensure staffing, engineering resource availability and allocations.
    To create a General Road Mapping. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs (Risk management).
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders improving negotiation and understanding.
  • To care about financials of the project in charge (invoicing, expenses, revenue forecasts, etc).
  • To analyze all relevant data about the project, creating dashboards and data visualizations for improving the decision making process.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • +6 years working as a Project Manager inside digital agencies, software factories or IT companies.
  • Experience working with project management software tools like MS Project and JIRA.
  • Experience managing both fixed-price and time & materials projects
  • Experience delivering agile projects and working with PODs
  • Experience with AI tools in everyday work and to support and accelerate project and product delivery
  •  Knowledge of data processing and dashboard. Metrics and KPI's analysis.
  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues. Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Upper-intermediate to advanced level of conversational English.

Nice to have qualifications  

  • Preferably with a degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or related careers.
  • Experience in e-commerce, ideally with composable or headless commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), delivering programs across multiple brands or markets

The benefits  

This is a full-time position based in Canada. The offered salary range is 90.000-120.000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location. 

Valtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service:

  • A comprehensive insurance plan, where you can choose the module that best suits your needs—Gold, Silver, or Bronze. The employer may contribute up to 80% of your coverage depending on the selected module. This plan includes short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Dialogue via Sun Life provides virtual healthcare services, allowing you to consult with a healthcare professional for emergencies, prescription renewals, and more. You also have access to the Employee and Family Assistance Program, as well as a complete mental health support program.
  • A $500 Personal Spending Account, which can be used for healthcare reimbursements, gym memberships, public transit passes, office supplies, or contributions to your RRSP through Valtech.
  • A retirement plan where Valtech will match 100% of your RRSP contributions through a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), up to a maximum of 4%. You can start contributing to your RRSP immediately, and to the DPSP after 3 months. The vesting of the DPSP will be after a 24 months of service. 
  • Access to a flexible vacation under Valtech's policy to support your work-life balance, with 5 days available during your probation period and a prorated amount calculated for the remainder of the year.
  • Personal Technology Reimbursement – $30/month for every employee-offered on day 1. 
  • We close during the winter holidays and offer flexible scheduling throughout the year, so you can enjoy those sunny Friday afternoons—provided your weekly hours are completed.
