Job description

Verisk is a global leader in data analytics and technology, helping businesses make smarter decisions, manage risk, and improve outcomes. Across insurance, financial services, and many other industries, our solutions combine deep industry expertise with leading technology to solve complex challenges at scale.

Within Verisk, Specialty Business Solutions (formerly Sequel) develops market-leading software used by insurers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs, and coverholders across the London Market and global specialty insurance sector. Our platforms support some of the industry's most complex operations, helping clients improve efficiency, strengthen data governance, and gain greater control over their businesses.

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our professional services team and play a key role in delivering software implementations that have a direct impact on our clients' success.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to lead meaningful, business-critical projects for some of the world's most respected insurance organizations. You'll own project delivery from planning through to successful implementation, working closely with clients, technical teams, product specialists, and senior stakeholders. Your work will help organizations modernize their operations, improve data quality, and maximize the value of their technology investments.

If you enjoy building strong client relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering complex technology projects that create real business value, this role offers both challenge and long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Lead the successful delivery of software implementation projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Create and maintain project plans, managing scope, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with clients to define project requirements, establish delivery plans, and drive successful outcomes
  • Coordinate with consultants, product specialists, developers, and other delivery teams to ensure projects remain on track
  • Manage project governance, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communications
  • Identify and remove delivery risks, issues, and blockers before they impact project success
  • Oversee testing, client acceptance activities, project sign-offs, and transition into operational support
  • Manage change requests and project controls while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Provide clear project status updates to both client and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery practices and processes

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing software delivery projects within a technology, software, or SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance client satisfaction with successful project outcomes
  • A structured approach to project management and governance
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience using project management tools and Microsoft Office applications including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment
