Field IT Europe is a subdivision of FedEx’ Information Technology department that is responsible for end user devices, operational IT solutions and network connectivity of the FedEx locations. Field IT is present in many of the European countries.
Job description:
As a FedEx Project/Process Analyst you will lead international Field IT projects in Europe. You will work in close collaboration with the business & IT teams. You will seek decisions and buy-in of their relevant stakeholders. You support the strategic IT goal of consistently applying global processes to divisional/regional projects and processes.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop and manage project plans using appropriate modelling tools. Take control of the project and deliver its scope within time & project.
· Develop and implement new Field IT processes.
· Understand our customers technical, process and business requirements and match the correct solution to implement from our existing portfolio.
· Develop and maintain your expertise of the FedEx Field IT portfolio of Technology capabilities
· Coordinate with FedEx business teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
· Resolve issues that arise with Field IT solutions appropriately and expediently.
· Participate in initiatives that are focused upon continuous improvement and design and development of innovative Field IT solutions.
· Develop and maintain your expertise in project management skills like communication, negotiating, planning & scheduling, conflict resolution, reporting, stakeholder management, etc.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or equivalent by experience.
· Good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure environments: hardware, software, middleware.
· Experience with leading projects and implementing new processes.
· Experience with resolving complex technical problems. Analytical skills are a must.
· Good understanding of different networks e.g LAN, WAN, WLAN.
· Experience with project management methodologies & tools.
· Excellent communications skills.
· Excellent in English. Additional European languages are a plus.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Advanced PC skills of the Microsoft O365 suite (incl. its automation features). Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.
