Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain automation for platform lifecycle and multi‑tenant self‑services (GitOps / API / portal).
- Design and troubleshoot self‑service flows (e.g., tenant provisioning, Entra ID access setup).
- Manage release tracking, platform updates, and software dependencies.
- Create documentation and training materials for internal platform users.
- Plan and roll out new automations and self‑service features.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineers on requirements and solution design.
- Support and enhance automation infrastructure across dev/test/prod environments.
- Contribute to stable 24/7 operations and improve monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager, OpenTelemetry).
- Support architecture evolution and ongoing platform improvements.
Your profile
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have experience automating platform or infrastructure operations using tools like Pulumi (Python/Go).
- Know how to build or extend developer self‑services using Backstage (React + backend APIs).
- Work confidently with DevOps pipelines and tooling: Bitbucket, Jenkins, Harbor, Argo CD.
- Can develop or integrate with platform APIs using Python and/or Java.
- Understand Kubernetes (AKS) and cloud platforms (Azure, VMware).
- Communicate clearly, collaborate well with engineering teams, and document your work effectively.
- Enjoy solving technical problems, automating manual processes, and improving platform reliability.
