AROBS is looking for a Cloud Automation Verification Engineer to participate in the design, execution, and maintenance of automated testing for client’s proprietary Python-based automation framework, leveraging Selenium for UI testing and REST APIs for backend microservice validation, prioritizing tasks aligned with Agile sprints and DevOps release cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop modular, reusable test scripts for product verification and validation.
• Define requirement-level test strategies to ensure product quality using advanced Python scripting, Selenium best practices, and REST API or physical devices to implement them.
• Maintain and enhance a Python-based automation framework, integrating Selenium for UI testing and REST API libraries for the solution’s verification and validation.
• Ensure close communication and working relationships with R&D, regulatory, quality, PMO, and other necessary functional teams
• Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
• Optimize test suites for scalability across device fleets, simulating high-volume updates and multi-device connectivity scenarios.
• Follow coding standards (PEP8), version control (Git/Bitbucket), and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Support Systems Engineering in refining requirements for testability, performance, and scalability.
• Create test documentation, including test specifications and impact testing, and ensure product & process quality as per customer requirements and defined software development guidelines.
• Generate audit-ready documentation, including traceability matrices linking tests to user stories and risk controls.
• Exhibit professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years in test automation, with 3+ years in Python-based frameworks (Selenium, REST APIs).
• 2+ years in Azure cloud environments; microservice testing experience required.
• 2+ years in physical device testing
• Product validation and verification experience
• Advanced Python scripting, Selenium WebDriver, and REST API libraries.
• Firsthand experience with Azure services.
• Strong English communication skills or excellent documentation skills (highly regulated development environment)
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in delivering products for the Medical Device industry (or IVD experience) on POC diagnostic platforms.
• Experience in a range of system engineering and IV&V processes, including requirements definition, verification planning, test execution, test data analysis, and/or operations support.
• Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer, ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer.
• An appreciation of detailed engineering documentation and sound technical skills.
