Job description

The person in this position will work on-site at our Melbourne, FL office.



 



Position Summary:



Review, track and measure the accuracy of rhythm interpretation within cardiac recordings, standard and notification reports. Provide feedback to continuously improve cardiac rhythm interpretations and the quality of ReactDx cardiac reports.



Essential Functions:

  • Identify, communicate and problem solve to continuously improve the overall quality of cardiac rhythm interpretations, standard and critical arrhythmia notification-worthy reports

  • Review and measure a percentage of ambulatory rhythm strips and cardiac reports sent to physicians

  • Use proprietary software to review and make improvements for reports to physicians

  • Evaluate standard and notification reports. Document the results in detail for assessment, feedback and improvement

  • Ensure that life threatening arrhythmias are identified and immediate notification is communicated electronically and verbally to the appropriate physician

  • Provide positive and negative feedback of report and rhythm strip interpretations to professionals that are driven, committed to quality and are experts in the industry

  • Acquire and/or retain clinical certifications

  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost savings

  • Develop consistency contracts to improve standardization

  • Think outside the box

  • Performs other duties as assigned



Supervisory Responsibility



This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



Required Education and Experience




  • Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CCT), RN, EMT-B or EMT-P

  • Successful completion of a basic, intermediate and advanced ECG course

  • Ability to interpret ECG rhythm strips without any assistance

  • A minimum of three years of experience in healthcare

  • Eligible to be hired in a healthcare facility with an appropriate background check

  • Clear communication skills including written documentation and verbal contact

  • Basic computer and typing skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)

  • Ability to work effectively in groups and independently with minimum supervision

  • Willingness to deal with conflict

  • Professional “people skills”

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Second language a plus. Excellent writing skills




  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point (Access exp.+), Google docs

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Aptitude for learning new software programs and concepts, team player

  • General office environment with peers working close in proximity

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time while using the computer and phone extensively
