This is a remote position.

Rackspace Cloud Developer: Build Resilient Systems on Managed Cloud Infrastructure

Pentoz is seeking an experienced Rackspace Cloud Developer to build, deploy, and optimize cloud-native applications on Rackspace’s managed infrastructure. You’ll help engineer secure, scalable platforms that support our multi-sector growth across SaaS, finance, hospitality, and beyond.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using Rackspace OpenStack, Managed AWS/Azure/GCP, and Rackspace Kubernetes

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or native tools

  • Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cost-efficient architectures

  • Integrate third-party APIs and legacy systems into cloud-native applications

  • Ensure compliance, security, and performance standards across all environments


You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience with Rackspace Cloud, OpenStack, or multi-cloud solutions

  • Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js for backend services and automation

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and managed services across AWS, Azure, or GCP via Rackspace

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (like New Relic, Prometheus, or CloudWatch) and DevSecOps best practices

  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and managed infrastructure environments
