About Us:
GridRay is an early-stage startup on a mission to transform Distribution Networks. We’re leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build scalable, innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. As a growing company, we offer a collaborative environment where you can take ownership of impactful projects and grow alongside us.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a versatile and self-motivated React Developer/Fullstack Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. This role will give you hands-on exposure to the full software development lifecycle, working with technologies such as React, AWS, Terraform, SQL/NoSQL databases, GraphQL, REST APIs, and automated testing tools like Playwright. You’ll collaborate across teams to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions, gaining invaluable experience in cloud-native application development.

Responsibilities:

  • Build responsive and dynamic web interfaces using React.js and modern frontend libraries.

  • Develop and consume GraphQL and REST APIs to enable seamless frontend-backend integration.

  • Design and optimize database schemas using SQL/NoSQL technologies.

  • Work with AWS services to deploy, scale, and manage applications.

  • Assist in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for efficient resource management.

  • Create automated test cases using Playwright to ensure application reliability.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack, ensuring robust performance.

  • Participate in code reviews, brainstorms, and team discussions to improve the product.

  • Contribute to DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and overall system architecture.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Basic to intermediate experience with React.js and its ecosystem (e.g., React Router, Redux, or Context API).

  • Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs.

  • Understanding of database concepts with hands-on experience in SQL and/or NoSQL.

  • Knowledge of AWS services and basic cloud deployment practices.

  • Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.

  • Some exposure to automated testing frameworks like Playwright, Jest, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

Good-to-Have (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with Material-UI/Ant Design, Tailwind CSS, or similar frontend frameworks.

  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.

  • Exposure to DevOps concepts like CI/CD and containerization tools like Docker.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools like Jira, Slack, or Confluence.

Who You Are:

  • An enthusiastic learner with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

  • Proactive and able to work both independently and in a team.

  • Passionate about building robust and scalable applications.

Please include any projects/portfolio/Github you’ve worked on that demonstrate your skills & enthusiasm for this role.

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • Exposure to a wide range of technologies and tools.

  • Opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

  • A chance to work on impactful projects with real-world applications.

  • Mentorship and guidance to accelerate your learning curve.

  • Potential for a full-time position based on performance.
