Receiving Lead (Warehouse) – $20–$23/hr | Day Shift | No Weekends

Overview
The Delivery Source is hiring a Receiving Lead to help manage and support our daily warehouse receiving operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll be working alongside the team while helping ensure incoming shipments are received accurately, organized properly, inspected and processed efficiently.
We specialize in white-glove furniture logistics, so attention to detail and care in handling high-value items is essential.

Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends
- 30-minute paid lunch daily
- $20–$23/hour (based on experience)
- Overtime opportunities available (with approval)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help oversee daily receiving and unloading of shipments
- Verify item counts, labeling, and documentation (BOL/POD)
- Assist in inspecting incoming items for damage or missing parts
- Support and guide warehouse team members during processing
- Communicate with freight carriers and vendors when needed
- Keep receiving areas organized, clean, and efficient
- Help resolve inventory discrepancies and “write-ups”
- Assist with returns, documentation, and client communication
- Jump in where needed to keep workflow moving
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year experience in a warehouse receiving role (required)
- Some leadership or team lead experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
- Forklift/MHE experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move items 100+ lbs (team lift when needed)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
