SUMMARY:
The RightStart Apprentice is a full-time entry-level technician in training, participating in a 12-month structured program designed to develop technical skills in collision repair. Working closely with a Mentor, the Apprentice gains hands-on experience, completes I-CAR and OEM certifications, and steadily increases production hours. By the end of the program, the Apprentice is expected to independently produce 40 flat-rate hours per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with assigned Mentor to complete hands-on coaching, training, and feedback.
- Complete program milestones and I-CAR Non-Structural Pro-Levels 1, 2, and 3 within designated timelines.
- Work 40 hours per week, adhering to attendance policies and program guidelines.
- Properly maintain and securely store provided tools and equipment.
- Support team production with hours increasing consistently throughout the program.
- Achieve independence in producing 40 flat rate hours weekly upon program completion.
