Overview:
As Sales Commission Process Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution and continuous optimization of sales commission processes within our systems and financial framework. This includes translating compensation plan designs into accurate commission calculations, ensuring data integrity, and driving automation to enhance efficiency and scalability. You will act as a key partner to Sales, Finance, and Operations, providing insights through attainment analysis and supporting informed business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on experience with incentive compensation processes, and solid technical proficiency with commission management and data tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, control, and continuously improve the quota-setting and deployment process, ensuring fair allocation, data-driven target setting, and alignment with company growth objectives

  • Perform accurate and timely sales commission calculations

  • Conduct attainment analysis and provide insights on sales performance

  • Analyze and reconcile financial transactions related to commissions

  • Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and consistency

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to improve commission processes

  • Maintain and enhance reporting dashboards and tools

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization

  • Manage and resolve inquiries from sales employees related to commission calculations, payments, and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on sales commissions or incentive compensation

  • Strong knowledge of commission structures, quota setting, and attainment metrics

  • Hands-on experience with commission management tools

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling)

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau (or similar platforms)

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent in English; additional languages will be considered an advantage

  • Experience working with global sales teams and cross-functional groups in a technology organization
