The Field Sales Representative is focused on actively pursuing new leads, opportunities and customers in the small and medium sized market segments to drive growth, either at a branch or country level. This role differs from others in that it prioritises the acquisition and expansion of the customer base, ensuring the continued growth and development of the customer’s portfolio. The primary objective is to achieve significant market expansion and customer acquisition.

 

 

 

About the Job

A Field Sales Executive at Hellmann Hungary is responsible for driving new business development and managing customer relationships across the full freight forwarding portfolio, including seafreight, airfreight, roadfreight, and railfreight services. Working closely with operational and product teams, the role focuses on identifying customer logistics needs, developing tailored transport solutions, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving sales growth targets. The position requires strong market knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships while promoting Hellmann’s global logistics network and value-added supply chain solutions.

  

About You

  • bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing/Logistics;
  • 2 years of minimum work experience preferred in an international environment or overall industry experience, Account Management and Sales;
  • fluency in both written and spoken English and other languages is beneficial;
  • proficiency in MS Office such as Powerpoint creation and presentation;
  • profound knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM);
  • good knowledge of SAP or ther ERP systems is an advantage especially as it relates to reporting and analysis;
  • clear understanding of forwarding and supply chain management IT systems functionalities.
