Role Overview

We are looking for a tech-savvy Sales Representative with proven experience in selling Java-based software services. In this role, you will identify potential clients, pitch tailored Java development services, and close deals that contribute to the growth of Pentoz’s backend and enterprise application development offerings.

This role requires a strong understanding of Java technologies, business applications, and enterprise customer needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound and inbound sales for Java development and enterprise solutions.

  • Understand client pain points and position custom Java-based applications as solutions.

  • Collaborate with the tech team to develop proposals, quotes, and solution architectures.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification to closure.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.

  • Stay informed on Java ecosystem trends, cloud adoption, and related enterprise tech needs.

  • Build long-term client relationships and identify upselling opportunities.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in software development or IT services.

  • Familiarity with Java technologies such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, etc.

  • Understanding of software development life cycles and enterprise architecture.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho).

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time, and meet targets.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how Java integrates with them.

  • Prior experience in technical sales or working alongside development teams.

  • Familiarity with verticals like finance, healthcare, logistics, or government solutions.
