Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Representative to lead business development for our PHP development services. You will identify client needs, present technical capabilities, and close deals for custom PHP-based web applications, CMS development, and open-source integrations.

This is a client-facing role that requires both technical understanding and strong communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound and inbound sales for PHP-based web development services.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions using PHP technologies (e.g., Laravel, WordPress, Symfony).

  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals, pricing, and project scopes.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report activity via CRM tools.

  • Stay current with PHP development trends and competitive offerings.

  • Build long-term client relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in IT, software, or web development services.

  • Strong understanding of PHP and related frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal.

  • Proven ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and independently.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling open-source web solutions or CMS development services.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, MySQL, and full-stack development workflows.

  • Previous work with clients in e-commerce, media, healthcare, or education sectors.

  • Basic understanding of hosting, scalability, and security in web applications.
