About this Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Solution Architecture and Data Platform Delivery professional to lead the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise data and analytics solutions across SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BW/4HANA. This role combines solution architecture, delivery leadership, stakeholder engagement, governance, and service management to build scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics platforms that support data-driven decision-making across Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, HR, and other business domains. The position is ideal for individuals with strong expertise in SAP Analytics, cloud data platforms, enterprise data warehousing, and Agile delivery methodologies.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end solution design for SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BW/4HANA initiatives.
- Design scalable data architectures across SAP and non-SAP environments.
- Define data integration, harmonisation, modelling, and reporting strategies.
- Drive architecture decisions aligned with enterprise standards, security requirements, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Establish reusable data models, semantic layers, and KPI frameworks.
- Define integration patterns across S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, BigQuery, and other enterprise platforms.
Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end programme delivery from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams, including Datasphere Developers, SAC Developers, BW Consultants, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
- Drive Agile delivery practices, sprint planning, release management, and stakeholder governance.
- Ensure delivery quality, budget adherence, timeline management, and achievement of project KPIs.
- Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and resource planning activities.
Stakeholder & Business Engagement
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements-gathering activities, and solution review sessions.
- Present solution architectures, roadmaps, delivery progress, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
- Build collaborative relationships across business and technology teams.
SAP Analytics & Data Platform Governance
- Define and maintain development standards, naming conventions, transport processes, and data governance practices.
- Establish performance optimisation frameworks across Datasphere, BW/4HANA, and SAC.
- Promote SAP best practices for data modelling, security, lifecycle management, and platform governance.
- Ensure solution documentation, audit readiness, and operational support frameworks are maintained.
Service Management
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ensure alignment with service level commitments and continuous improvement objectives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to improve platform stability and performance.
Who you are
7+ years of overall professional experience.5+ years of experience in solution architecture and delivery leadership roles.Proven experience leading large-scale SAP Analytics implementations and support engagements.Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BW/4HANA.Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, data modelling, integration, and analytics platforms.Experience designing solutions across SAP and non-SAP technology landscapes.Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to balance technical governance, strategic planning, and delivery execution within complex enterprise environments.
