Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
- Current TN SLP License (or willing to obtain)
- Current TN Educator License (or willing to obtain)
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Pass background check clearance
- Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Have the ability to walk, bend, sit, and stand during the work shift
- Provide own transportation
- Experience with pediatric populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluations, develop and implement therapy goals
- Diagnose speech and language pathologies
- Act as a liaison and collaborate with other professionals/team members and families to provide well-rounded care
- Educate students and teachers in proper treatment techniques, including the use of assistive devices
- Provide written documentation of client services, including but not limited to, writing session notes and uploading them to a database timely
- Develop or collaborate on the development of the IEP (Individual Education Plan)
