School Psychologist | Bothell, WA | 2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time Coverage Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a potential full-time coverage position beginning in late September 2026 in the Bothell area of Washington. We are a women- and therapist-founded company working to elevate the employment experience for school-based professionals. Job Highlights:

  • Location: Bothell Area, WA

  • Position: School Psychologist

  • Setting: In-person, school-based position

  • Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday

  • Anticipated Start Date: Late November 2026

  • School Year: 2026–2027

  • Exact assignment dates, school sites, grade levels, and caseload details are still being finalized

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations

  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments

  • Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports

  • Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

  • Assist school teams with students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

  • Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions

  • Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility, programming, and student supports

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based planning

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or educational specialist degree in School Psychology

  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement

  • Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete

  • Must provide at least two supervisory references

  • Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility requirements

  • Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Previous school-based experience preferred
