Job Summary:
As Scrum Master, you play a key role in the definition, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Agile practices (with an emphasis on Scrum) within the organization. You will facilitate sprint planning, retrospective, and daily activities related to stand-ups and sprint burn down; as well as maintain relevant metrics that help the team see and understand their progress during a sprint. In this role you will own and resolve identified impediments.. As Scrum Master you're responsible for leading the continual Agile transformation and practices as well as promoting accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization.
1. Work directly with scrum team to support small, less-complex initiatives and support more senior level scrum masters for high complexity initiatives.
2. Practices the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and practices continuous improvement.
3. Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.
4. Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress.
5. Provide status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery.
Job Specific Information:
This position is for the Scrum Master of the FedEx Cloud Dojo. This team’s mission is to positively change FedEx process, technology, and culture, to enable delivery of cloud native applications that can take advantage of cloud native technologies in order to deliver faster and more efficient speed to value.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Guides and coaches the Cloud Dojo on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
- Coordinates sprints/iterations, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups ·
- Facilitates both internal and external communication
- Resolves conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Ensures deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint/iteration

- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience in a project manager or scrum master role
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts
- Good knowledge of Agile frameworks
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Memphis, TN.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
