We are looking for a Python/Django Web Application Developer responsible for developing REST APIs. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Responsibilities
Developing Python based backend applications
Delivering well written REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code
Mandatory Skills
Strong skills in Python, with knowledge of Django & Django REST Framework (DRF).
Strong skills in implementing REST APIs
Strong coding/programming & application development experience
- Excellent problem solving abilities. Very good HackerRank/HackerEarth score will be a plus
Good knowledge of working with relational databases such as MySQL and Postgresql
Good knowledge on object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Professional, precise communication skills
Working knowledge of Git
Optional Skills
Knowledge of Flask & Python scripting
Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Knowledge of working with cloud environments such as AWS
Knowledge of DevOps tools & practices
Educational Qualifications and Experience
B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Computer science/Information science/Information Technology
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Python technology
