Job Description

We are looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen the security posture of our product. The role is focused on building and integrating security checks and validations directly into our CI/CD setup (ArgoCD-based) to ensure our systems are secure by design.

You’ll work closely with our Platform Engineering team to embed best practices in cloud-native security, monitoring, and observability, helping us scale reliable and secure infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design security validations for internal products
  • Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines utilizing ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
  • Work with platform engineers to support secure deployments in Kubernetes environments
  • Improve system and application visibility with observability and monitoring tools
  • Enhance internal security practices, tooling, and automation
  • Advise on security aspects of event-driven and service mesh architectures

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
  • Familiarity with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Knowledge of observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Elasticsearch
  • Understanding of event-driven systems such as NATS
  • Background in service mesh technologies like Istio
  • Skills in using security monitoring tools like Falco
  • Understanding of data pipelines between producers and consumers
  • Ability to work effectively with Platform Engineering teams
