Role Overview
As a Security Engineer at SAGEA, you will be responsible for protecting our AI systems, data, and infrastructure from potential threats. This role focuses on securing the models, pipelines, and deployment environments while supporting safe and reliable operations of research and production systems.
You will collaborate with engineering, ML Ops, and research teams to ensure that SAGEA’s AI platforms maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability at all stages—from development to deployment.
What You Will Do
Design and implement security controls for model, data, and infrastructure systems
Monitor and audit access to models, pipelines, and sensitive datasets
Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations for infrastructure and software
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure CI/CD and deployment workflows
Implement best practices for data privacy, IP protection, and regulatory compliance
Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation actions
Advise on secure architecture and risk reduction strategies for experimental and deployed systems
What We Are Looking For
Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices
Experience with securing cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications
Familiarity with access control, encryption, and key management
Knowledge of CI/CD security and secure development lifecycle
Ability to analyze risks and propose practical security solutions
Nice to Have
Experience with AI or ML system security
Knowledge of privacy-preserving ML, model watermarking, or data protection techniques
Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms, and containerized deployments
Hands-on experience with incident response or penetration testing
