Job description

Vacancy Specification

As part of a fun, close-knit team, you'll 'pick' stock for specific stores and load them onto the right pallets - ready for our Drivers to collect.

We have opportunities in our Chiller and Fresh (Pick to Zero) departments.

Our wonderful team of Selectors bring to life our love of efficiency and productivity. Receiving instructions through a headset, you'll need to be on the ball and pay close attention to details that matter, such as store numbers and product quantities. It also means always checking that the relevant paperwork is accurate.

Our Selectors tell us it’s a fun team to be part of, with plenty of variety and responsibility. Safety is high on the agenda, but you’re always ready to get the job done in a ‘high energy’ enthusiastic way. Because, let’s face it, we couldn’t run the show without you.

Our evening shifts usually operate between the hours of 3pm and 2am and you'll typically work 7- 8 hours per shift.

Benefits

• An impressive salary - €15.40 per hour rising to €17.75 per hour. There is an additional premium for any hours worked during the nightshift of €2.30 per hour.

• Typically, 5 days over 7 with weekend work and 30+ hours per week (minimum contract hours are 30 and can rise to an average of 36)

• Our evening shifts usually operate between the hours of 3pm and 2am and you'll typically work 7-8 hours per shift.

• Scope for some flexibility on working hours

• 4 weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays

• Sick pay, long service awards, maternity, paternity, neonatal, adoption leave and auto-enrolment plus many more benefits subject to tenure

• In addition to the full training programme when you first join, you’ll receive some of the best training and development throughout your Aldi career

• Career progression opportunities

• Employee Assistance Programme

• Bike to Work Scheme

Application process

The application process consists of an online application whereby successful candidates will then progress to the interview stage of the process.
