Position Title: Senior AI Engineer / Forward-Deployed Engineer (AI/ML, LLM Agents, Full-Stack) Category: Software Development & Engineering Seniority: Senior

What you will be doing: We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer / Forward-Deployed Engineer who can bridge technical and business domains, orchestrating complex deployments of our AI-driven platform for high-impact clients. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact, design scalable architectures, lead integrations across cross-functional teams, and mentor junior AI Engineers/FDEs. This is a strategic, client-facing role that combines deep software engineering expertise with strong consulting skills and the ability to influence executive stakeholders. Fluent English is essential for daily communication with international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead discovery sessions, executive-level workshops, and technical deep dives with C-suite and technical leaders to translate business objectives into architectural blueprints.
Architect and implement complex customizations, integrations, data pipelines, and scalable AI/ML model optimizations.
Design and oversee the development of complex prototypes, proofs of concept, and production systems using modern web and AI/ML technologies.
Deploy and fine-tune AI/ML models and large-language-model pipelines, ensuring ethical and responsible use.
Oversee end-to-end deployment, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation aligned with client goals.
Act as the technical liaison between clients, product management, engineering, and executive leadership to feed feedback into the product roadmap.
Coach and mentor junior and mid-level FDEs, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge-transfer sessions for client leadership and technical teams.
Must-Haves:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in full-stack development, including 3+ years leading AI/ML projects in enterprise environments, with a proven track record of deploying full-stack + AI projects independently end-to-end.
Core Technical Languages: Expert proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and web frameworks (React, Node.js, FastAPI).
AI/ML & Automation: Advanced knowledge of machine-learning/LLM frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLOps, prompt engineering) and hands-on experience with n8n for workflow automation.
Infrastructure & Data: Strong understanding of microservices, serverless, API design/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL/NoSQL databases, data governance, and web scraping.
Client-Facing & Leadership: Proven track record in technical consulting, pre-sales, solutions architecture, direct handling of C-level stakeholders, and leadership/coaching experience.
Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in English (B2+/C1) and Spanish/Portuguese as needed, with exceptional executive communication skills.
Nice to Have:
AWS or other relevant cloud certifications.
Familiarity with security, compliance, and data-privacy regulations across jurisdictions.
Experience contributing to recruitment, onboarding, or growing a formal FDE program.
