The purpose of this role is to ensure the stable operation, support, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform and related applications. You will play a key role in maintaining system functionality, supporting users, and contributing to enhancements across Finance and other business areas.

This role combines hands-on configuration, user support, and collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure systems deliver value and meet organisational needs.

What will you do:

  • Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday business processes, workflows, and system settings across Finance and other domains
  • Assist in managing Workday security, including roles, access rights, and user administration
  • Provide day-to-day support to users by resolving incidents, answering questions, and handling tickets
  • Support tenant administration activities (e.g., Sandbox, Production), including user access and basic troubleshooting
  • Contribute to user access reviews, audit activities, and compliance processes
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve issues across Workday modules (e.g., AP, AR, GL, Procurement)
  • Participate in maintaining and improving integrations (e.g., EIBs, APIs, or other interfaces)
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and external partners to support system improvements and changes
  • Support testing, releases, and implementation activities for system updates
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for system efficiency and user experience

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with enterprise applications (Workday experience is a strong advantage, but not mandatory for all areas)
  • Understanding of application support, configuration, or system administration
  • Interest or experience in Finance processes (AP, AR, GL, Procurement) is beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of security concepts (roles, access management)
  • Experience or exposure to integrations or data interfaces is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to support and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a structured support environment (e.g., ticketing systems, ITIL processes)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Experience in Agile environments or tools like Jira is an advantage
