Your future duties and responsibilities:
Join our growing team in Sofia and contribute to the development of secure, scalable backend services for a cutting-edge digital platform. You will be part of a cross-functional, international team working in a DevOps environment, taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Kotlin and Java 21 with Spring Boot 3.2/4.0 or TypeScript with Nest.js (Node.js)
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Github
- Integrate and manage databases and storage solutions such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB (Atlas) and S3
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OIDC/OAUTH2 and HashiCorp Vault
- Ensure high performance and reliability through automated testing and OpenSearch- and Instana-based monitoring and logging
- Apply best practices in secure software development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our microservice architecture
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and DevOps engineers in an agile setup
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Strong hands-on expeexperience in either Kotlin, Spring Boot and Java or TypeScript and Nest.js (Node.js)
- Solid understanding of authentication/authorization
- Proven experience in secure software development and working with microservice architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern techonologies (Helm, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS) and skilled in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Github
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills (minimum B2) are a strong advantage
