Your Work Profile

The Senior C# API Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality APIs using C# and related Microsoft technologies. The role requires strong backend development expertise, a solid understanding of API lifecycle management, and the ability to work independently on complex technical requirements. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions while ensuring engineering best practices and quality standards.

Key Skills Required

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in API development using C# and .NET technologies.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of API testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving API performance and integration issues.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices.
• Ability to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, B.Sc., or M.Sc
• Experience with ASP.NET Core and modern .NET frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API security standards and authentication mechanisms.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
