Job Description

Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer for our client, a fast-growing and internationally oriented consulting company. In this role, you will leverage your strong expertise in Databricks and cloud platforms, and ideally also your experience with SAP or Microsoft solutions. You will design and develop scalable data solutions and drive the adoption of best practices across the organization.

What will you do?

  • Lead and deliver Databricks-based solutions end-to-end.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes from multiple data sources.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts and data scientists.
  • Ensure data quality and availability.
  • Optimize system performance and solve challenges proactively.

    What do we expect from you?

    • Several years of experience in data engineering roles.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks and big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark).
    • Excellent Python skills.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure).
    • Experience with SAP or Microsoft solutions is considered a strong advantage.
    • Ability to work independently as well as mentor team members.
    • Proficiency in Finnish is a plus.
