Senior Data Engineer-Python

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Build back-end features in Python, including profiling and integrating large datasets
  • Support the design and implementation of functional requirements
  • Implement best practise API designs including security
  • Collaborate with Front-End Developers to implement design into the code
  • Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
  • Contribute to CI/CD & Test automation
  • Prepare technical documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Extensive core Python experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Strong in creating backend APIs
  • Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, Bottle, FastAPI)
  • Large datasets and distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Dask)
  • Container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes on Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Experience building RESTful APIs & API development best practice
  • Strong experience in SQL
