Here, you will find a culture guided by inclusion, talented peers, comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health optimization on a global scale. Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our IT Asset Management (ITAM) team. This role will focus on creating meaningful data cuts from a comprehensive set of asset lifecycle data sourced from upstream and downstream applications. The objective is to deliver actionable insights that empower both upstream and downstream teams to optimize processes, improve decision-making, and enhance overall system performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and segment large datasets related to IT asset lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Design and implement data models that capture relationships between upstream and downstream systems
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream application teams to understand data dependencies and integration points
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement across the asset lifecycle
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance standards are maintained throughout analysis
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing predictive and prescriptive analytics
  • Builder Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making.
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Impact of the Role

This position plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions across ITAM processes, ensuring seamless integration between systems and improving operational efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • Any Graduate
  • Experience 10+ years in Data Engineering or Data Analytics
  • Experience with automation and scripting for data extraction and transformation
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources
  • Background in data governance and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of ITAM tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar)
  • Understanding of IT Asset Management processes and lifecycle concepts
  • Familiarity with upstream/downstream system integrations and data flows
  • Solid proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven solid communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Data Engineering or data analytics
  • Exposure to AI as User OR Builder

At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone. We believe everyone–of every race, gender, sexuality, age, location and income–deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. Today, however, there are still far too many barriers to good health which are disproportionately experienced by people of color, historically marginalized groups and those with lower incomes. We are committed to mitigating our impact on the environment and enabling and delivering equitable care that addresses health disparities and improves health outcomes — an enterprise priority reflected in our mission.
