· Providing
IT integration, support, and DevOps Lead with Kubernetes who can create, lead
and deliver a production-ready solution that can host applications from
multiple clients at the private cloud which is a set of software products
designed for accelerating the delivery of secure, reliable modern applications.
It is a combination of a common platform, several key applications, and a
dashboard targeted at managing the core lifecycle of applications
Main Duties:
· System
integration and implementation of DevOps Tools.
· Full
responsibility for migration and upgrading to new releases.
· Responsible
for system integration and implementation of Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
· Maintaining
the availability of the applications and their hosted servers. (Cooperating
with SysAdmins to maintain hosting servers)
· Performing
all possible technical troubleshooting steps to resolve the incidents related
to managed environments
· Troubleshooting
and fixing database-related issues.
· Update
the technical documentation and the team knowledge base

· Responsible for creating software deployment strategies that are
essential for the successful deployment of software in the work environment.
· They identify and implement data storage methods like clustering to improve the
performance of the team.
· Build, deploy and monitor
software projects continuously with CI Tools like Jenkins or similar
· Help transforming our
organization towards an engineering culture
· Drive, through
implementation, our DevOps and Advanced engineering practices
· Responsible for coming up with solutions for managing a vast
number of documents in real-time and enables quick search and analysis. He also
identifies issues in the production phase and system and implements monitoring
solutions to overcome those issues.
· Accountable for designing, building, and optimizing automation
systems that help to execute business web and data infrastructure platforms.
- Further tasked with keeping up with industry best
practices and trends on behalf of the DevOps department and the larger
engineering department. S/He conducts research,tests, and implements new metrics collection
systems that can be reused and applied to any site/software development
project.
Requirements
- 5+ year of Experience in DevOps
- Solid background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Previous experience with OpenShift implementations &
integrations - Must have technical Skills:
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- OpenShift
- Technical knowledge in IT infrastructure technologies (DNS,
Proxy) and connectivity techniques - Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
- Experience with configuration management tools preferred in
Saltstack, Ansible. - Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and
cloud services - Familiar with distributed data platforms (e.g., Hadoop,
Spark, and ElasticSearch). - Familiar with open-source monitoring systems (Prometheus,
Sensu, NewRelic, and Splunk). - Experience implementing CI/CD
- Knowledge of JavaScript and node.js is a plus.
- Software or Web development skills are a plus.
- Up to date on the latest industry trends.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management. - Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
