Job description

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a dynamic research & development center in Bulgaria, supporting one of the fastest-growing startups in the US FinTech industry.

Our client is the leading online insurance distribution and comparison platform in the United States, reshaping how millions of people choose and purchase insurance through advanced AI, technology, and superior product design.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will:

  • Partner with the product team to design and implement new features.

  • Enhance existing functionality using modern techniques to improve speed and reliability.

  • Build robust test suites to ensure the stability and quality of our applications.

  • Deploy frequently to production while maintaining high standards of performance.



Requirements

What You Need

  • 5+ years of experience building frontend applications with modern frameworks (React preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (our stack includes React, Node.js, and Gatsby).

  • Familiarity with modern CSS approaches, or motivation to learn quickly.

  • Solid understanding of the HTTP/HTTPS protocol.

  • Experience analyzing code performance and implementing optimizations.

  • Proven track record in writing unit and integration tests.

  • Bonus points for familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, AWS, or Python.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
