We're looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer (Node.js, Angular, Java, JavaScript) to join our team in Poland. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex problems, modernizing legacy platforms, and delivering robust cloud-native solutions. In this role, you’ll be hands-on with the full technology stack—shaping architecture, leading development efforts, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives forward. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs—primarily in Node.js—with front-end contributions in Angular
- Modernize legacy systems by evaluating current-state architectures and defining target-state solutions that maximize performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Deliver high-quality software in an agile environment, partnering closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing (including API and Playwright automation), deployment, and operational support
- Implement and manage AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, CloudWatch) to build resilient, observable, and secure solutions
- Promote best practices in coding standards, testing, monitoring (via Splunk, Honeycomb), and documentation
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, translating broad, ambiguous business needs into concrete technical plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree strongly preferred
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated leadership in building production-grade systems
- Deep expertise in Node.js, microservices architecture, REST API design, and full-stack development (Angular contributing to ~20% of workload)
- Proven success modernizing legacy systems, assessing current architectures, and defining target-state designs
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, CloudWatch, and related tools)
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL); familiarity with DB2 is a plus
- Proficiency using modern monitoring and observability platforms (Splunk, Honeycomb) and automated testing frameworks (API testing tools, Playwright)
- Strong command of agile methodologies and iterative delivery
Nice to have
- Exposure to Java for DB2 integration and legacy system interfacing
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with API management, security, and governance best practices
- Experience with Playwright
