We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, architectural understanding, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following industry best practices.
- Design and implement highly available and fault-tolerant microservices architectures.
- Work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and related technologies.
- Develop efficient database solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Implement service-to-service communication using REST, messaging, or event-driven architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+ and core Java concepts.
- Extensive experience developing applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Good understanding of microservices design patterns, distributed systems, scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
