Job Description:
Chapman Tate Associates are working in partnership with a market leading organisation within the Financial Services industry to recruit a Senior Java Developer based in Nottingham. 


Responsibilities:
  • You'll build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure code based on User Stories.
  • Engaging with product owners, architects and other specialists you'll design world-class solutions to address our customer needs.
  • Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, you'll ensure that your team delivers reliable, robust software through the creation and execution of automated tests.
  • Actively participating in Scrum and Nexus meetings, you'll give timely status updates on areas for which you are responsible.
Experience Required:
  • Excellent knowledge of the Java language and the JVM itself, including solid understanding of Java cloud native. 
  • Familiarity with languages including Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and Python. 
  • Experience with build tools, such as Eclipse or IntelliJ and code management tools such as Git or SVN. 
  • Good understanding of CI / CD with experience using Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Previous experience or similar role as a Java Developer 
This Senior Java Developer role is based in Nottingham on a permanent basis, offering a package up to £70,000 per annum including additional perks and benefits.
