Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Performance & API Testing Engineer to ensure our SaaS platform is scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
This role is beyond execution - you will run tests, monitor systems, derive insights, and recommend actionable improvements to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute performance tests using JMeter or similar tools
Simulate real-world workloads and monitor system performance (latency, throughput, resource usage)
Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements to Dev teams
Perform API testing using Postman and automation tools
Build and maintain API test suites and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
Improve API coverage including edge cases and negative scenarios
Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams for performance tuning and issue resolution

SME Expectations

Act as a go-to person for performance and API testing
Provide clear insights, not just reports
Suggest practical improvements for performance and API reliability
Bring new ideas to enhance API testing coverage and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or IT (mandatory)
Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory)
4–6 years of experience in Performance Testing and API Testing

Core Skills

Hands-on experience with JMeter
Strong experience in API testing using Postman
Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices
Ability to analyze performance metrics and identify issues
Basic scripting/automation experience (Java/JS/Python)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools
Experience in SaaS or cloud environments
