Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building robust, scalable web applications and a keen interest in the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing sophisticated web solutions and will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects involving GenAI technologies like chatbots and RAG systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that drives business value and enhances user experience. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, reliable, and scalable Python-based web applications and services. Lead the architecture and implementation of backend systems, APIs, and database schemas. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile/Scrum framework. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in web development and Generative AI, and apply them to our projects. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance and security. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of professional software development experience with a primary focus on Python. Strong proficiency with Python and its web frameworks, such as Flask or FastAPI. Solid experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing or integrating Generative AI solutions, such as chatbots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, or working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda). Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular). familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Previous experience working in the financial services or FinTech industry.
