Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with German to join our technology team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Building robust backend applications and APIs using Python frameworks (Flask, Django) to support business-critical solutions

  • Designing, developing, and enhancing scalable microservices architectures and cloud-native applications

  • Developing and optimizing REST APIs and data processing workflows for high performance and scalability

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (cloud, frontend, data) to deliver end-to-end solutions

  • Supporting Solution/Technical Architects with implementation details and technical decisions

  • Proposing performance improvements (code quality, architecture, scalability, reliability)

  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

  • Communicating effectively with German-speaking stakeholders and clients

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python development (mandatory)

  • Proven experience with Flask and/or Django frameworks

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architectures

  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably Azure)

  • Good knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data processing patterns

  • Working experience with DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience working in Agile environments

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • German language – advanced level

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerization

  • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem and integrations

  • Experience with performance tuning and system optimization

  • Experience integrating AI/ML components into enterprise platforms to enable intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making
