YOUR ROLE
YOUR TASKS
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Python.
- Build and support RESTful APIs utilizing frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Develop and optimize database solutions, write complex SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using modern security standards and libraries.
- Integrate external systems and services through APIs and cloud-based platforms.
- Develop data processing workflows for handling structured business data and file-based integrations.
- Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices.
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong hands-on experience with Python development.
- Proven experience building REST APIs using one or more of FastAPI, Flask, Django, Gunicorn.
- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience working with authentication and security libraries, including google-auth, cryptography, oauthlib, requests-oauthlib.
- Experience implementing application monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry API, OpenTelemetry SDK, OpenTelemetry Instrumentation (Flask, Requests).
- Experience with data processing and file handling using xlrd, xlwt, simplejson.
- Familiarity with utility libraries such as requests, PyYAML, jsonschema
- Understanding of software design principles, API best practices, and secure coding standards.
- Experience with version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
