Senior SAP ABAP Technical Developer

12 Months Contract

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP ABAP Cloud or SAP S/4HANA certification.
  • Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native SAP extensions.
  • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite, API Management, or event-driven architectures.
Role Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to design, build, and optimize enterprise SAP solutions within S/4HANA and hybrid cloud environments. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and integration architects to deliver scalable, high-performance applications that support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom SAP applications using Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP on HANA principles.
  • Create and enhance CDS Views, OData services, RAP-based applications, and Fiori-enabled solutions.
  • Build secure integrations between SAP and external platforms using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and web services.
  • Perform code optimization, root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance tuning for business-critical processes.
  • Develop technical specifications from functional requirements and participate in solution architecture discussions.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and enhancement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with clean-core development standards and upgrade-safe extensibility practices.
  • Conduct peer reviews, technical documentation, unit testing, and deployment support.
  • Collaborate with distributed global teams using Agile delivery methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in ABAP, OO-ABAP, and SAP S/4HANA development.
  • Hands-on experience with CDS Views, OData, RAP, Fiori, and SAP BTP services.
  • Knowledge of RICEFW objects, enhancements, BAdIs, BAPIs, workflows, and Adobe Forms.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting interfaces and integration solutions.
  • Understanding of SAP business processes across finance, supply chain, or procurement domains.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
