Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Data Engineer with strong Python development skills and hands-on experience building and supporting ETL pipelines. This role focuses on developing production-grade data solutions, working across systems to ensure reliable data processing, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable implementations. Responsibilities Your Impact Design and develop Python-based data applications and services for production environments Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across systems Analyze and optimize data processing workflows to improve performance and reliability Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms Develop and manage complex SQL queries and data transformations Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement data solutions Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production data pipelines and batch processes Contribute to solution design discussions and recommend improvements to data architecture Qualifications Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in software engineering and data engineering roles Strong hands-on Python development experience (data-focused applications) Proven experience designing and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines Solid SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and data quality validation Experience troubleshooting data issues across multiple systems and environments Familiarity with production support processes, monitoring, and scheduling Ability to work independently and deliver solutions with minimal supervision Set Yourself Apart With Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory) Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter or SSIS Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and enterprise data architecture Experience working with large-scale or distributed data systems Exposure to CI/CD, version control, and data pipeline automation practices Additional information An inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and collaboration.
