Job Summary

This position is on the Platform Enablement team which designs, builds, and manages platform capabilities that help support other services and service teams. The team operates on every engineering level of the Delinea Platform including design, data, API, messaging, and deployment on a Kubernetes / microservice based architecture running in Microsoft Azure.

Primarily responsible for the App Registration service, which allows all other platform services to connect to cloud providers in a secure and controlled manner. Other services range from webhooks, SIEM integration, user preferences, user experience, front-end messaging, branding configuration, tenant experience, supportability services and more.

This team has a special place for ensuring that all of our platform is supportable through self-service. This position plays a key role in strengthening Delinea’s identity and access management ecosystem through high-quality engineering practices and innovation. We want to learn, solve complex problems, and work together as a strong team. You will report to the director of engineering, Platform Intelligence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services in C#/.NET, utilizing Azure and Kubernetes.

  • Develop methods for internal services to connect to different cloud service providers securely

  • Increase supportability of platform by providing self-service tools for the end user and enabling other service teams through use of those tools

  • Design event-driven, asynchronous architectures across microservices.

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for delivery, including infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.

  • Collaborate with product, UX, and other platform teams; actively participate in code and design reviews.

  • Leverage AI in your daily workflow; use coding agents to design, write, and review code held to the same standard as hand-written code.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with C# .NET and microservices architectures.

  • Experience using various technologies including C#, Cosmos, SQL Server, ADX, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, GO, Python, Terraform, and many more.

  • Hands-on background with Azure and/or AWS — Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud security fundamentals

  • Able to understand and diagnose complex cross service issues using telemetry tooling such as Datadog RUM and other internally developed services.

  • Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI frameworks.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and privileged access control.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor within a collaborative team environment.

We’d Love to See:

  • Experience with application registration, API keys, SPIFFE, Workload Identity Federation

  • Passion for building solutions that enable other teams and platform supportability

  • Someone that enjoys context switching so you get to play with all the things

  • Experience with SaaS products running in a cloud environment such as Azure

  • Knowledge of observability frameworks (Datadog RUM, Grafana) for monitoring and diagnostics.

  • Prior experience in AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, or data compliance management.

  • Proven success in Agile software development and continuous delivery environments.

For this Job, Delinea is not considering candidates that need any type of US work authorization now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J1, etc.
