Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – AI Application Development & Operations
Experience: 8–14 Years
Location: Mumbai / Pune / Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI Application Development and Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and operating enterprise AI applications while collaborating closely with Data Science and Cloud Infrastructure teams. This role requires strong expertise in AI/ML systems, Azure Cloud, MLOps, DevOps, and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition AI and Machine Learning proof-of-concept models into scalable, secure, and production-ready applications.

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI applications on Azure Cloud infrastructure.

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI and machine learning workloads.

  • Monitor application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Develop and maintain containerized AI microservices using Docker and Azure Container Services.

  • Implement software engineering best practices including modular design, automated testing, and version control.

  • Establish AI application lifecycle management processes including deployment, rollback strategies, and observability.

  • Develop and integrate APIs for AI model serving and enterprise application integration.

  • Manage AI endpoints, ensuring secure access, monitoring, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with Data Science, Infrastructure, and Business teams to align AI solutions with organizational goals.

  • Drive continuous improvement of AI development and operational processes.


Required Skills:

  • 8–14 years of experience in Software Engineering and Application Development.

  • Strong expertise in Python programming.

  • Hands-on experience in AI/ML application development and deployment.

  • Strong understanding of MLOps and productionizing Machine Learning models.

  • Experience working with Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.

  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices.

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.

  • Experience developing Microservices architectures.

  • Strong experience in API design, development, and integration.

  • Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, scaling, and maintenance.

  • Experience with Git, version control, branching strategies, and release management.

  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and other Machine Learning libraries.

  • Knowledge of Azure Container Services and cloud-native architectures.

  • Exposure to frontend development technologies.

  • Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other LLM frameworks.

  • Knowledge of AI observability and monitoring tools.

  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional global teams.


Eligibility / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
