We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build cloud-native, event-driven apps with Java, Spring Boot, React and Kafka. You will design microservices, ship through CI/CD and improve reliability in production on Microsoft Azure with a team that values clean engineering and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance full stack features using Java, Spring Boot and React
- Design microservices and event-driven workflows using Apache Kafka
- Create and maintain REST application programming interfaces (APIs) and integrations
- Improve delivery pipelines using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
- Deploy and run services on Microsoft Azure using containers
- Partner with product, QA and engineering peers in Agile ceremonies
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience with Java development in enterprise environments
- Strong background in Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience building Front-end features with React.js, JavaScript, HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and container tooling such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows and production support practices
- Solid knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and database integration patterns
Nice to have
- Background in banking or financial services
- Cloud certifications are a plus (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Experience with Kubernetes
